Water Inlet Valve Screen AGM73269501 attaches inside the inlet valve to prevent large sediment from entering the washer. It filters out sediments and particles as water enters the machine. If the screens become clogged, water flow slows or stops, affecting washer performance. Replace clogged or damaged inlet valve screens with the AGM73269501 high-quality replacement part. These washer inlet filter screens help maintain clean water supply and reduce the risk of valve or hose blockages caused by dirt, rust, or sediment. The package includes 2 hot water filter screens and 2 cold water filter screens. Made from durable ABS plastic, the screens are color-coded for easy identification: orange for hot water, blue for cold water. The ABS material resists corrosion and deformation. AGM73269501 is compatible with LG, Kenmore, and Sears washing machines. Replaces part numbers: 1810261, AP5202486, PS3618281, EAP3618281, etc. The blue and orange filters are functionally identical—only the color differs. Over time, cold water filters may accumulate calcium deposits or sand, reducing water flow. Prompt replacement helps maintain optimal performance. Before installation, disconnect power. Use work gloves and a screwdriver. Install the screen onto the water valve where it connects to the water pipe, then secure the pipe to the valve. Ensure correct orientation—do not install upside down.
