Universal Steering Lock Emulator for Mini Cooper and 3 & 5 Series - No Programming Needed

FOR BMW Mini Cooper ELV/ESL Steering Lock Emulator – Compatible with MK2751 Compatible with BMW models E90, E91, E92, E93, E60, E61, E63, E64 and Mini R55, R56 Emulates the ELV (Steering Lock Module) for reliable performance Plug-and-play installation – no coding or additional hardware required Becomes active immediately after connection Enables functions such as locking and unlocking through access to the CAS ELV module Overview: The ELV (Electronic Steering Lock) may fail due to mechanical issues in the steering column. If the ELV fails, the vehicle may not start even with a working key, as the system will not recognize the steering lock. Traditionally, replacing the ELV requires purchasing a new unit and programming it through a dealer, which can be costly and time-consuming. This ELV/ESL emulator bypasses the faulty steering lock module, resolving the starting issue without the need for a replacement. It emulates a fully functional steering lock, allowing the vehicle to operate normally. Note: - In some cases, it may be necessary to clear airbag system codes, errors, or counters using a diagnostic tool - Professional installation by a qualified mechanic is strongly recommended - Trouble codes must be reset using appropriate diagnostic equipment - This emulator is intended for use when the ELV has been diagnosed as faulty - Designed to simulate a working steering lock - Installation guide not included – professional installation advised - Color: As shown - Material: Plastic Package Includes: 1 x ELV ESL Steering Lock Emulator Only the items listed are included
