There are 5 wheels with 10 random letters for you to select. The default passkey for the padlock is OOOOO and is entered where the raised points on the underside align. To change the passkey to what you want unlock the padlock with the existing passkey and release the shackle turn the piece the shackle locks into 90 anti-clockwise and pull off you are now able to remove each wheel with the lettering and arrange them to what you want the passkey to be along the red points replace the piece you removed and then close the shackle the passkey you chose will now be the only combination that unlocks the padlock.
