The M5StickC PLUS2 is an iteration of the M5StickC PLUS, using the ESP32-PICO-V3-02 chip as the main control chip and featuring built-in WiFi functionality. This compact device integrates a variety of hardware resources within its small size, including infrared, real-time clock (RTC), microphone, LED, inertial measurement unit (IMU), buttons, buzzer, etc. It features a 1.14-inch TFT display with a resolution of 135 x 240, driven by an ST7789V2 chip. The battery capacity has been increased to 200mAh, and the interface also supports HAT and Unit series products. This compact yet comprehensive development tool is designed to inspire endless creative possibilities. The M5StickC PLUS2 can quickly build IoT product prototypes and simplify the entire development process. Even programming novices can easily use the M5StickC PLUS2 to build interesting applications and apply them to real-world scenarios. Power On: The device can be woken up by pressing and holding the “KEY C” key for more than 2 seconds or by periodically triggering the IRQ signal via the RTC. After the wake-up signal is triggered, the hold pin (G4) must be set to high (1) during program initialization to maintain power supply; otherwise, the device will enter the power-off state again. Power Off: When there is no external USB power, press and hold the “KEY C” key for more than 6 seconds; or, when there is no external USB power, set HOLD(GPIO4)=0 in the program operation to achieve power off.
