It enables efficient power transfer from a solar panel or other photovoltaic source to a rechargeable LiPo battery. Setup is simple: connect the solar panel to one side of the charger and the battery to the other. The charger is designed to charge a single polymer lithium-ion cell. The load should be connected in parallel with the battery. Default maximum charge current is 0.99A, with a recommended input voltage range of 4.4V to 6V. Batteries should not be charged at a rate exceeding their capacity rating.
