Note: If the unit does not function properly, follow these troubleshooting steps: 1. Open the disc tray and inspect the laser lens for dust or debris. Gently clean the lens with a soft cotton swab dampened with mild soapy water, then rinse with clean water. Avoid using alcohol, as it may damage the lens if not thoroughly rinsed. 2. If cleaning does not resolve the issue and the lens appears aged or fails to read discs properly, carefully access the internal mechanism and locate the small adjustment screw near the lens assembly. Make a slight, gentle adjustment to optimize laser output. 3. If the lens assembly is stuck and fails to extend, disassemble the console, manually rotate the associated gear or rod to reposition the optical assembly outward, insert a disc, power on the console, and test functionality.
