Network Cable Tester and Tracker for LAN Diagnostics

Line Hunting Function: Rotate the transmitter knob switch to the "Line Hunting" position. The hunting indicator light turns on, indicating the device is in line hunting mode. Connect one end of the cable or telephone cable to be tested to the RJ45 or RJ11 port of the transmitter. Turn on the receiver and adjust its sensitivity to maximum. Bring the receiver probe close to the cable. When a signal is detected, the receiver emits a “beep” sound. The stronger the signal, the brighter the yellow-green indicator light flashes, helping you quickly locate the approximate position of the cable. After identifying the approximate location, reduce the receiver’s sensitivity to precisely identify the target line. Line Identification Function: Rotate the transmitter knob switch to the "Alignment" position. The alignment indicator light turns on, indicating the device is in alignment mode. This function is used to verify wire sequence, detect shorts, and identify open circuits in cables. Test results are displayed via sequence indicator lights. Insert one end of the cable into the transmitter’s RJ45 port and the other end into the receiver’s RJ45 port. Observe the sequence light pattern to assess cable condition.
