Steering shocks work like a motorcycle's fork. Internal circuitry and hydraulic valves regulate the amount of impact delivered to the arm through the rod. There is an attachment point on the frame, and this sometimes strenuous movement is transferred to the shock absorbers, allowing you to maintain control of the motorcycle and even helping to reduce fatigue. Just like your fork is designed to handle vertical shocks, the steering stabilizer is designed to reduce lateral movement. Hydraulic fluid flows between controlled to reduce impact and improve safety.
