Constructed from cold-drawn AISI 304 stainless steel with a tightly controlled diamond-shaped coil section. Key dimensions: M24 × 3.0 mm thread, free length 20 mm, recommended minimum installed depth 36 mm. Tensile strength exceeds 800 MPa; hardness ~200 HV — sufficient to resist deformation while remaining compatible with softer parent materials.Unlike epoxy-based thread repair systems or oversized bushings, these inserts preserve original hole location and size — crucial for alignment-critical assemblies. Installation follows a validated three-stage method: pilot drilling to Ø22.5 mm, tapping with M24 × 3.0 mm bottoming tap, and controlled winding using calibrated torque-limiting tools.
