This fits all models of the for from 1996 to 2011, for -V from 1997 to 2006, for Element from 2003 to 2011, and for the from 2006 to 2014.This replacement hood release latch is a repair for the Part Number plastic latch which will often crack and break off of the cable. This can be installed in 5 to 10 minutes.This sale is NOT for the entire cable, just for the replacement latch handle that fits on of the cable.Machined from a solid block of aluminum.The normal cable replacement would take between 1-1/2 and 2 hours. This replacement latch can be installed in a few minutes. It requires the removal of the corner plastic kick plate. Then about 1" of the remaining plastic must be trimmed off of the cable with wire cutters.
