The rotation lock knob allows you to rotate the camera around the lens axis, enabling smooth switching between portrait and landscape orientations without adjusting the pan/tilt head. To attach the tripod ring: Turn the locking knob counterclockwise to align the arrow with the dot, then pull the knob outward to open the ring. Place the lens into the open ring, position the camera as desired, and tighten the locking knob to secure. To remove, follow the reverse procedure. When the locking knob is loosened, you can freely rotate the camera and lens for horizontal or vertical shooting. Once positioned, tighten the knob to lock in place.
