Improves machine performance: The DeLonghi coffee machine water filter improves machine performance and efficiency. Extends machine life by keeping hoses clean. Prevents coffee machine congestion due to calcium deposits. Coffee is approximately 98% water, so the water you use has a significant impact on taste. This cartridge contains a natural ion exchange resin and activated carbon which stabilizes calcium carbonate and removes impurities which alter the flavor of the coffee.
