Description

- High efficiency power supply module TPS63020 with automatic boost and buck operation. It delivers up to 3 A output current and up to 96% efficiency, automatically switching between buck and boost modes to provide stable power conversion. - Wide input and output range. Input voltage range is 8V to 5.5V and output voltage options are 2.5V, 3.3V, 4.2V and 5V. Compatible with two- and three-cell alkaline batteries, single-cell lithium batteries, and devices powered by them, such as mobile PCs, digital media players and cameras. - Low ripple voltage. The module provides a low ripple voltage design with only 10 mV ripple under various load conditions, ensuring stable and clean output for sensitive electronics. - Very low quiescent current. Quiescent current is less than 50 uA, minimizing standby power consumption and extending battery life in battery-powered applications. - Use scenarios. Ideal for powering portable devices from battery packs, such as handheld computers, digital media players or cameras. Suitable for battery-powered embedded projects requiring reliable 2.5–5V rails from multi-cell packs. Also applicable to field devices and portable electronics that rely on alkaline or lithium battery sources.
