Ready To Use Sea Vegetables Certified Organic by OCIA USDA Organic  Dear Dulse Lover, Maine Coast Dulse Flakes provide the same outstanding nutrition and flavor as our whole leaf dulse, but at less cost per ounce. Ready to use, no soaking, rinsing, cutting or cooking required Dulse Flakes are a raw whole food that can be enjoyed right from the bag or added to recipes. These flakes are milled from Dulse which grows in well-protected coastal passages, is easier to harvest, and gives higher yields. The Dulse comes straight from the ocean without any rinsing or processing, and is solar dried at mild temperatures before milling to retain nutrients and enzymes. Every step follows Organic Standards that help ensure purity and environmental stewardship. We also voluntarily test for chemical, heavy metal, petroleum, radioactivity, and microbiological contaminants. However, we cannot guarantee the hand-harvested Dulse used for these flakes is free from pieces of shells or pebbles.
